How much space do I need for the tents and beds?

The Slumber Tent set up (tent frame and mattress) measures:

195cm x 97cm in width (longer mattress)

160cm x 1m in width (shorter mattress)

The large wigwam is 218cm high, 195cm in length and 190cm wide

How much space do I need for the Bell Tent?

The 4 metre bell will require a minimum flat grassed pitch area of 6m x 6m

The 5m bell will require a minimum flat grassed pitch area of 7m x 7m.

Please can you ensure you have a large enough area in your chosen location.  Unfortunately the bell cannot be pitched on artificial grass or paving.

How long does it take to set up?

It will take us approximately 45 minutes to set up the Solo bell tent or decorate your own bell tent, 2 hours to set up the Daytime and Sleepover bell tents, 1 hour to set up the picnic and between 30-90 mins to set up the indoor tents, depending on the number of tents required.

We will require a clear access route to the area where we are pitching the tent.

Do you set up the tents?

Yes of course, this is all part of the service, we love to create the magic for you. We usually banish the birthday boy or girl from the set up because the surprise and complete joy on their face when they see their party all set up is just priceless.

Delivery costs

Delivery is free if you live within 10 miles of the CO7 postcode. This is where the Slumber Tents live.

If you live further than 10 miles we will need to charge you 45p per mile after the first 10 miles (which will be free).

For example; Chelmsford is 29 miles away. The first 10 miles is free. So we would need to charge you for the 19 extra miles.

19 miles x 45p is £8.55.  There are 4 journeys (there and back to set up and there and back to pack down) making the cost £34.20.

Can I mix and match the themes?

Yes absolutely!  You could even have one of each if you are feeling really adventurous.

Can I hire the tents for more than one night?

Indeed you can (as long as we have availability). Your extra night will be charged at 50% of the cost of your first night.
